VINTAGE BIKE OC NEWS

Huntington Beach, Calif. - It was a beautiful afternoon today in Huntington Beach. It started out a little slow but ended well with 63 bikes. The voting was pretty spread out across ten different bikes and in the end four came out on top.

Bike of the Month - Don Reynolds

Congratulations to Don Reynolds of West Covina for winning Bike of the Month with his 1975 Kawasaki H2 750. Don won the Bike of the Month plaque provided by Russ Brown Motorcycle Attorneys. www.RussBrown.com.

Don has owned this bike for four years and spent three of them getting it running and the last year getting the paint done.

Second Place - Sam Wright

Sam Wright of Rancho Santa Margarita won Second place with a 1984 Moto Guzzi Le Mans 1000.

Third Place - Jeff Agalsoff

Jeff Agalsoff of Costa Mesa tied for Third place with his 1975 Kawasaki Z900. The Z900 has gone through a complete restoration and had all new panels and tank.

Third Place - Jeff Haskell

Jeff Haskell of Costa Mesa tied for Third place with his 1948 Whizzer. The Wizzer is 100% original except for the new paint.

Unfortunately with four winners I didn't get a chance to interview them all as much as I would have preferred.

Thanks to everyone for showing up and making this another great event. A special thanks to John Zindler for helping out with the voting today. Debbie and Tom Hopkins were unable to attend today, I look forward to seeing them again soon.
