Bill Blaty and his 1968 Hodaka Make: Hodaka Model: H100 Country of Origin: Japan Engine: 100cc Single Transmission: 4 speed Year: 1968 Owner: Bill Blaty, Huntington Beach, CA		1968 Hodaka H100 Custom Trials Bike Congratulations to Bill Blaty of Huntington Beach for winning Bike of the Month with his custom 1968 Hodaka H100. Bill is the brother of John Blaty who won Bike of the Month in December. Their brother Kevin is also an active member of our group. The H100 started life as an enduro, but Bill built it into a Trials Bike a couple of years back from a basket case. Bill was involved with CAL VMX, a San Diego Trials riding club in 2008. To set it up for trials riding, Bill added a custom exhaust and changed the gearing. Kevin added the design for the Musk Rat logo. There are plenty of pictures in our January Gallery. Thank you Bill and Kevin for bringing it to the meet.

The Bike of the Month contest is held monthly at the Vintage Bike OC meet. Qualifying motorcycles must be 30 years old or older. Former Bike of the Month winning bikes are not eligible to win again. Anyone attending the meet is eligible to enter a qualifying bike in the contest and vote for their favorite bike. The winning bike is chosen by a popular vote and is featured on the Home page for one month and in this feature article. The Bike of the Month articles are permanent content on the site.
