VINTAGE BIKE OC NEWS

Huntington Beach, Calif. - Another perfect afternoon in So Cal. It's great to be back at the Vintage Bike OC meet after having to take two months off. The votes were all over the board today, but in the end we had one clear winner along with a good size group of 104 bikes.

Bike of the Month
Ken & Sheryl Morris of Rancho Cucamonga won Bike of the Month with their 1969 BMW R60/2. They won a Mr. Pete's Grill gift certificate provided by Mr. Pete's Grill. Ken won once before in July 2014 with his 1970 Triumph Bonneville T120R.

Second Place
John Mozley of Newport Beach took Second place with his 1975 Yamaha RD250. This is the second time John has placed with his totally original RD. He bought it off E-Bay about nine months ago as-is.

Third Place
Ken Upton of Garden Grove came back to our meet today after about a 9 year absence. He receives our emails, but never has time to come. Today he brought two beautiful Triumph powered Rickmans, and took Third place with his 1966 Rickman.

Honorary Mention
Andy Boone of Laguna Beach left at 3:00 on his (1976-82) Laverda 1000 Jota. He didn't hang around long enough for me to get details, but I think there were a lot of ballots cast his way. Andy won back in February 2016 with his 1980 Harley Davidson XR750.
