VINTAGE BIKE OC NEWS

Huntington Beach, Calif. - Valentine's Day, Chinese New Year, great weather and 55 bikes. Another great meet today at Beach Burgers. The new location has proven itself. They like us, we like them.

SoCal AMCA
Today we had several members of the SoCal AMCA, Antique Motorcycle Club of America with us. Anyone interested in Antique motorcycles should visit their site at: www.socalamca.org/

Bike of the Month
Mike Jongblood won Bike of the Month with his 1963 Velocette Venum Cluman. Mike is known as Mr. Velocette to many of us. The voting for the top three bikes was very close. The second most popular bike was the 1962 BSA A10 Super Rocket owned by Pete & Suzanne Burrows. Craig Rich and his 1947 Velocette MSS was the third most popular, which was actually a misstake on my part. Craig already had won Bike of the Month back in February 2008 so he shouldn't have been in the mix.

Thanks again to everyone for showing up and making this a great event. I'm already looking forward to March 14th.
