Congratulations to Jennifer Mulvey of Anaheim for winning Bike of the Month with her 1959 Triumph Tiger Cub 200. Jennifer won a $20.00 Beach Burgers gift certificate provided by Beach Burgers and The Scooter Solution.
This was the first time at the meet for Jennifer, but her father Larry Horn is no stranger to our group. He has won Bike of the Month twice in the past first in May 2011 with his 1955 Velocette MSS and then in December 2011 with his 1950/52 Norvin.
Larry told me that Jennifer wanted a Tiger Cub after seeing a photo of another young woman with one. Thus beginning his search. That was 17 years ago when he found it. It started out with a numbers matching basket case in several boxes and started coming together just in the past year.
Jennifer has done much of her own work on the Cub.
Larry brought it to the meet back in August and took Second place in the contest.
