Jeb & Austin Bugaren and their 1950 Norton Model 18 Make: Norton Model: Model 18 Country of Origin: England Engine: 500cc Single Transmission: 4 speed Year: 1950 Owner: Jeb Bugaren City: Placentia		1950 Norton Model 18 Congratulations to Jeb Bugaren of Placentia for winning Bike of the Month with his 1950 Norton Model 18. Jeb rode the Model 18 down from Placentia with his son Austin on the back. It was quite a ride for Austin, because they avoided the Freeways and only took surface streets. Appearently this bike was left for dead, burned in the desert. The previous owner resurected it and sold it to Jeb in 1987 as a runner with many wrong parts. Jeb restored it to the current condition over the last 20 years. See all the pictures in our November Gallery. Thank you Jeb for bringing it to the meet.

The Bike of the Month contest is held monthly at the Vintage Bike OC meet. Qualifying motorcycles must be 30 years old or older. Former Bike of the Month winning bikes are not eligible to win again. Anyone attending the meet is eligible to enter a qualifying bike in the contest and vote for their favorite bike. The winning bike is chosen by a popular vote and is featured on the Home page for one month and in this feature article. The Bike of the Month articles are permanent content on the site.
