Huntington Beach, Calif. - A beautiful Mother's Day in Huntington Beach today. The holiday didn't keep the crowds away. We had 52 bikes at 2:00pm and by the end of the meet 99 people showed up to enjoy the day.

Keith Moore 1941-2012 Moore's Cycle Center
Keith Moore of Moore's Cycle Center in Anaheim passed away last month at his shop. Keith was well known and respected throughout the community. Many of our members were long time customers and friends of Keith. Keith will be missed.

Bike of the Month Contest
We had a great contest for Bike of the Month. Lon Bubeck of Long Beach ran away with an easy win. His 1928 Indian 101 Scout stole the show. The Scout was previously owned by Lon's father, Max Bubeck, The World's Second Fastest Indian. Max held the speed record for an unstreamlined Indian from 1942 until 2002.

Lon was awarded a $20.00 gift certificate to Beach Burgers, provided by Beach Burgers and The Scooter Solution.

There was a tie for Second place. John Stone with his recently finished 1969 BSA custom tied with Victor Tripple with his 1973 Norton Commando 750. On any other day, both of these bikes could have won first prize.

CB-X Takeover
We had four Honda 1000 CB-X's today. Bruce Enderle on Huntington Beach gathered the most votes for fourth place with his 1979 Honda CB-X.
