Huntington Beach, Calif. - A crisp and clear January afternoon in Huntington Beach. It was either the football game or the cold snap but we had a lighter crowd this month. 55 people braved the chilling temps to attend the meet.
Bike of the Month Contest
Jennifer Mulvey of Anaheim easily won first place in
the Bike of the Month contest with her 1959 Triumph Tiger Cub 200. Jennifer had a little help with her bike from her father Larry Horn. Larry has won Bike of the Month twice in the past and this bike came in Second back in August when it was first completed.
A Tribute to his Father
Ronnie Czaplicki of Long Beach took Second place with his 1972 Triumph TR6 Custom. This was Ronnie's first time to our meet and the first time out with his unique custom. The rigid hard tail has the oil in the frame and a grease container from a Caterpillar acts as the tool box. Ronnie started this build a year ago for his father who was battling cancer. Unfortunately his father lost his battle before the project was complete.
Paul Raad of Huntington Beach took Third place with his 1977 Honda CB750F. Paul has owned the Honda for four years and rides it regularly.
