VINTAGE BIKE OC NEWS

Huntington Beach, Calif. - A welcome change from the past two months, today we had perfect weather in Huntington Beach and 118 people showed up with their bikes for another great meet.

One of my favorite bikes today was Raul Madrigal's 1985 Suzuki GS1150E. Raul gathered some votes, but it wasn't until I found out that he's the original owner and this bike is 100% original un-restored including the paint that I took a second look. Raul also rode his bike to the meet... 81 miles from San Bernardino. Maybe next time he'll get a few more votes. At least for farthest traveled.

Bike of the Month
It's déjà vu all over again... Last months winner Nick Cooke of Mission Viejo took first place again with his 1975 Kawaski H2 750. Nick won a Mr. Pete's Grill gift certificate. Nick has owned the bike for 9 months. Read all about the H2 on our Bike of the Month page.

Second Place Tie
Marc Gallin and Marcus Davin are no strangers to the Bike of the Month Club.

Marc Gallin of Fountain Valley tied for Second place with his 1928 Indian Scout 101. Marc has owned the Indian since the late 1990's and is involved with the So Cal Chapter of the the AMCA, Antique Motorcycle Club of America. Marc won Bike of the Month back in June 2008 with his 1925 Harley Davidson JDL

Marcus Davin of Newport Beach tied for Second with his custom 1934 Harley Davidson VLD. Marcus has owned this Harley for about a year. Marcus won Bike of the Month twice back in June 2013. In September with his 1966 BMW R50/2 and in December with his 1938 BMW R12.
