VINTAGE BIKE OC NEWS

Huntington Beach, Calif. - A beautiful warm afternoon today, the heat may have kept some people home, or maybe they were preparing for the Presidential Debate. Even with all that going on, we had a great meet with 88 bikes.

BAM: Breakdown and Legal Assistance for Motorcyclists
Kitty Brooks, So Cal Marketing Rep for Russ Brown Motorcycle Attorneys, spent her Sunday afternoon with us promoting their BAM program. BAM is a volunteer organization of bikers helping bikers. She also had an nice assortment of free promotional swag. The program is giving away a 2016 Indian Chief Dark Horse to one of their participants. Bike of the Month
First timer Tom Capalbo of Villa Park won Bike of the Month with his 1974 Norton 850 Commando. He won a Mr. Pete's Grill gift certificate provided by Mr. Pete's Grill. Tom had an overwhelming victory with his Colorado Norton Works bike. He also brought two very nice Triumph Bonneville's, a 1969 & 1970 that his friends rode.

Second Place
Danny Roberson of Westminster took Second place with his 1970 Yamaha CS3 200. Danny has owned his bike for about 5 years and has many more at home.

Third Place
Dave Zamiska of Huntington Beach took Third place with his 1972 BSA Lighting. Dave won Bike of the Month once before in August 2011 with his 1954 BSA A7-500 Shooting Star.
