Congratulations to Ernesto Quiroga of Long Beach for winning Bike of the Month with his 1985 Ducati Mille.
Ernesto won a plaque provided by Russ Brown Motorcycle Attorneys.
Zero Miles Bike
Ernesto imported this bike from Germany eight months ago. It had spent it's entire life in an Austrian Museum
and never been riden.
Owen Bishop from the local area shop Moto 41 Vintage Motorcycle brought the bike into riding condition
with all new fluids, brake lines, carburetor work to get it roadworthy.
To date, Ernesto has put 734 kilometers on the clock. He's not one to own a bike for display purposes only.
Ernesto has won Bike of the Month seven times since November 2007. He won at the forth meet
that I ran. Nearly every time Ernesto shows up, he brings a winner.

The Bike of the Month contest is held monthly at the Vintage Bike OC meet. Qualifying motorcycles must be 30 years old or older. Former Bike of the Month winning bikes are not eligible to win again.
Anyone attending the meet is eligible to enter a qualifying bike in the contest and vote for
their favorite bike. The winning bike is chosen by a popular vote and is featured on the Home page for one month and in this feature article. The Bike of the Month articles are permanent content on the site.
