Huntington Beach, Calif. - Spring Forward! Thanks to the time change I was a little late to the meet, not after 2:00, but plenty of people were waiting for me when I showed up. The weather was perfect today and 72 people brought their bikes out to enjoy it.

There were too many nice bikes to vote on today. Fifteen bikes had at least one vote, seven bikes were in the running, and the top three bikes only differed by a few votes. Eighty votes were cast.

Congratulations to Bob & Chet Primmer of Corona Del Mar for winning Bike of the Month with their 1936 Velocette KSS 500cc Custom.

They picked this bike up in January at the Las Vegas auction. This is now their fourth Bike of the Month win, they just won in January.

He has owned the Honda for three years, he purchased it from a US museum in the mid-west it had never been ridden.

Ernesto has won Bike of the Month eight times since November 2007. He won at the forth meet that I ran. Nearly every time Ernesto shows up, he brings a winner.

Third Place - Kevin Blaty

Congratulations to Kevin Blaty of Huntington Beach for winning Third Place with his 1953 NSU Rennsport Fox Factory Racer.

The 1953 N.S.U. NSU Rennsport Fox 98cc Factory Racer was one of 12 built and one of 2 sent to the U.S.A. for the 1953 racing season.

This machine took 1st Place in the 1953 Catalina Grand Prix 125cc class ridden by Dave Ekins.

Kevin has owned the bike for five years and decided to bring it to the meet to share it with us.

The Blaty Brothers of Huntington Beach are no strangers to our group, two of them have won Bike of the Month in the past, and they always bring unique bikes. They haven't attended as much in the recent years hopefully that will change.

Next month's meet is, April 13, 2025. I won't be here due to my 25 year commitment to the Long Beach Grand Prix, but Brian Tinkler, Russ Truex, and Doug Rickertsen have offered to help out. I'm sure it will be a great event.
