Huntington Beach, Calif. - So much for 20% chance of thunder storms, Fritz... It was an awesome day in HB today, not a cloud in the sky. For those of you that can't make out the sky writing in the photo, it say's "SORBETTO JULY 15". I don't have a clue what it means, I just captured in in chrome. Maybe that's where the term Kodachrome came from, but I don't think so.
It seemed to start out a little slow today, but all in all I'd say we had 30 bikes show up, something from every country. At least the countries that matter. A lot of new people and at least six bikes that I've never seen, every month it's something new. Although it could be my memory too...
J. D. Tone of Fountain Valley easily won Bike of the Month with his 1939 Indian Sport Scout. The bike has been in his family since 1943. Plenty of pics in the gallery, if you missed it today.
Again, thanks all for coming out. I have a lot of fun with this, and it keeps on growing. See you all next month on August 10th.
