Huntington Beach, Calif. - Happy Mother's Day! Well Mother's Day didn't slow us down at all today. We had a good turnout with 25 bikes. The weather was perfect, mid 70's and blue sky - just what we ordered.
Ernesto Quiroga of Long Beach took home his third Bike of the Month with his 1961 Ducati 175 Sport. Ernesto also won back in December and November, 2007. Check out the gallery for all the photos and the Bike of the Month archives for his other wins. I think Ernesto has won with every bike he owns. This bike is not a trailer queen, he has riden it in four Motogiro, Giro d'California races since 2005.
Motozania
Tim Kuglin from Motozania, www.motozania.com, a motorcycle social networking site was covering the meet again today. Check it out, another great motorcycle resource online. Tim has been great supporter of our group and is working hard for the community.
Huntington Beach Concours
The 2009 Huntington Beach Concours Event will be held Sunday June 7, 2009. Mike Moon was passing out applications today to participate in the event. Visit www.hbconcours.org for more information.
