VINTAGE BIKE OC NEWS

Huntington Beach, Calif. - Someone switched the time and left the heater running. It was hot and windy this afternoon, and I think it kept some people home. We had some great bikes for the Bike of the Month competition. I'm estimating the total count was 40 bikes.

Congratulations to Doug Rickertsen of Huntington Beach for winning Second place with his 1973 Honda XR75. Doug just finished the restoration yesterday. The paint was done by Pat "Hollywood" Hawley. This is Doug's third XR75 restoration.

Doug has won Bike of the Month six times in the past.

This is another fresh restoration. Todd has owned his RD for ten years, and had brought it to the meet several times in the past. He just finished the restoration last week.
