Huntington Beach, Calif. - Happy Mother's Day! We had a great turnout today on a perfect May afternoon. Even though it was Mother's Day, 33 people were in the lot when I showed up at 1:45, and by the end we had a nice group of 66.

Congratulations to Eugene Garcin & Mary Wong of Hollywood for winning Bike of the Month with his 1947 Indian Chief Bobber.

Eugene & Mary always bring something nice to share when they come down from Hollywood.

This is the ninth time they have won Bike of the Month. Here's the run down:

Second Place - Doug Rickertsen

Doug Rickertsen of Huntington Beach took Second place with his 1975 Honda MT250 Elsinore.

This is the second time Doug has come in Second place with this winner. He completed a complete eight month restoration including the engine on the Elsinore which he bought in Arizona.

Doug has won Bike of the Month twice before:
August 2022 - 1975 Honda MR50
April 2021 - 1971 Honda SL125


Third Place - Steve Krasch

Steve Krasch of Upland with his 1975 Honda CB400F Super Sport

This is the second time Steve has placed in the top three with his Super Sport. Steve bought this bike new off the showroom floor in 1976. The bike is 100% original with original paint, definitely a contender to win.
