VINTAGE BIKE OC NEWS

Huntington Beach, Calif. - Another perfect California afternoon, aside from a little issue we had with KFC, the meet went really well. Normally I try and get a count at the start, but I was hopping today. The count is starting to matter less, but today's was edging our record with 156 bikes.

Please Patronize KFC & Arby's
Mr. Pete's Grill is very happy with our group, and Arbys doesn't have any issues, but KFC feels we're blocking their drive-through, parking and generally making it difficult for their customers. Please patronize KFC and Arbys. Mr. Pete's shares the parking with KFC, but Arbys is kindly letting us use theirs too. I'm not sure how much business we're bringing them. Let me know if you've eaten at either restaurant.

Bike of the Month
First timer Bill Melvin of Mission Viejo won first place with his 1957 Moto Guzzi Falconi. Bill won a Mr. Pete's Grill T-shirt and hat. Bill would have won, "Traveled Farthest" had he not won Bike of the Month. He and his wife live in Spruce, Michigan and winter in Mission Viejo. Second Place
Rob Lewis of San Clemente took second with his 1948 Harley Davidson Pan Head. Bruce brought his whole family out for the meet today. He has owned this Harley for 4 months. It was built by Carl's Cycle Supply in South Dakota.

Third Place
Bruce Fickling of San Clemente took Third place with his 1974 Rickman-Metisse Montessa 250V. Bruce placed second in November, 2014 and brought his bike back to try again.
