VINTAGE BIKE OC NEWS

Huntington Beach, Calif. - After a week of heavy marine layer, we had a beautiful day in HB. We had a wide variety of bikes today. Everything from a portable mini-bike to a 1938 Indian. 42 bikes at Beach Burgers was a good size crowd.

Bike of the Month was easily won by Steve Mitzner of Lakewood with his 1938 Indian 4. Steve has owned the bike since 1969, and recently got it back on the road. At the opposite end of the scale, second place went to a 1966 Mustang custom mini bike, and third place went to Ron Roger's pristine 1975 Kawasaki H1 500. Unfortunately the owners of the Mustang left before I could interview them.

Our 10th Meet at Beach Burgers
Today was our 10th month at Beach Burgers, again I would like to thank June Lee, and her staff for great food, great service and welcoming hospitality. Last September, I was about to throw in the towel due to our old location. I feel we have a great home now.

A special thanks to Debbie Hopkins for helping again with the voting ballots. It takes a big load off me having this job handled.
